Rancho San Diego Elementary School PTA

Our PTA supports the efforts of our teachers and provides activities to promote a rewarding, successful, and memorable early education experience for each student. We are a member of the nationwide PTA association, California-state PTA, the Ninth District PTA, and the Cajon Valley council. 

We meet monthly, alternating meeting times between the mornings and evenings to accommodate stay-at-home parents as well as working parents. 

Through funding, planning, and volunteer support, Rancho San Diego Elementary PTA makes it possible for students to have

• Field trips
• Science labs
• Art instruction
• Music instruction
• Drama instruction
• Book fairs
• Assemblies & special events
• Family events on evenings and weekends

We also 

• Show teachers how much parents appreciate them
• Support students during standardized test taking
• Fund facility improvements and instructional supplies
• Support extracurricular activities 
• Assist low-income families in paying for school activity costs 
• Provide accounting assistance for students’ community service projects

Our PTA is all-volunteer, and we are always in need of new volunteers so we can continue supporting our students and teachers.

We welcome teachers, dads, moms, grandparents, and extended family members to attend PTA meetings and become a vital part of our organization. PTA is also a great place for high-school and college-age siblings and cousins to find volunteer hours for school credit.

PTA meetings are held the second Wednesday of every month. We rotate meetings between mornings and evenings. Check the calendar for upcoming dates.

Meetings are where you can get the inside scoop on changes at the school and have a voice as we make decisions regarding upcoming events. Meetings are also a good place to share ideas and ask questions. 

There is no need to RSVP or commit to coming every month. Everyone is welcome to attend. Just show up when you can, and we’ll be happy to have you!

• Support close relationships between home and school, so that parents and teachers may cooperate intelligently in the education of children and youth
